The Fire Control Specialist integrates and processes tactical battlefield information from multiple users and sensors through a network of Army and JOINT automated battle command systems. Their duties include but are not limited to: operating communication systems; conducting primary tactical data system operations; data base management; and fire mission processing. They are the link between the automated howitzer cannons and the computerized data input systems.
